Volume #4 of D la Repubblica‘s ‘the BIG d’ offering is here for 2024. The limited-edition special collector’s issue is printed in a large format, two issues in one, and spread over 392 pages. Farneti welcomes back Rianne van Rompaey as a cover girl, mere weeks after her last. The Dutch beauty takes Sicily for the occasion, and joined by her fellow model friends throughout the Karim Sadli-shot shoot. For cover one (below), Rianne is styled by Jane How sporting a vintage bikini. Along with Harper’s Bazaar France, the relaunch of Harper’s Bazaar Italia has been triumphant. Since 2022, covers starring the likes of Rianne van Rompaey and Penelope Ternes have blown us away. The magazine is now under a new editor in the form of Massimo Russo, complete with Stefano Tonchi installed as editorial director. The first covers under the new team are here, for September 2024. As creative director of Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquière has called upon a whole rooster of talent to photograph his advertising campaigns for the storied French fashion house. The French-Belgian designer’s selections have included everyone from Bruce Weber to Ethan James Green and Steven Meisel to David Sims. Jamie Hawkesworth is the latest photographer endorsed by Ghesquière, with the unveiling of Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2024 advertising campaign. Echoing the setting of the show, the campaign’s backdrop is that of Lake Maggiore in Italy, with Ghesquière’s cast (including Chu Wong, Mica Argañaraz, Valentina Castro, Ida Heiner and Emma Laird) captured by Hawkesoworth during golden hour, on the island of Isola Bella.

The ads divided our forums. “I admire this collection so much. So the idea of the juxtaposition between beautiful clothes with the stunning location is a win to me,” applauded elle_gb.
